1. Introduction

Welcome to InvoiceLight. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and invoicing service. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To use our service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Payments and Billing

InvoiceLight charges $1.00 USD per sent invoice. You will only be charged when you send an invoice to your clients.

Payment terms:

  • Each sent invoice will incur a $1.00 USD charge
  • All payments are non-refundable once an invoice has been sent
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for each invoice you send
  • Pricing is subject to change with notice
  • You may be required to maintain a payment method on file to use our service
  • Invoices you create but do not send will not incur any charges

4. Use of Service

You agree to use our service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the service to transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers or networks connected to the service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
  • Use the service to create or send unsolicited commercial emails

5. User Content

Our service allows you to create and store content such as invoices, client information, and business details ("User Content"). You retain all rights to your User Content.

By using our service, you grant us a license to host, use, copy, store, transmit, and display your User Content as necessary to provide and maintain the service.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to your User Content
  • Your User Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright, contract rights, or any other rights of any person

6. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by InvoiceLight and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, or transmit any of our material without our explicit permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. InvoiceLight makes no warranties, either express or implied, regarding the service, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceLight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount paid by you to InvoiceLight during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account by deactivating it through your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
